As for the food, well it was fantastic. Well cooked, juicy and delicious with tasty apple sauce and superb crackling. All our guests, without exception, commented that it was the best they had ever tasted at a hog roast.

Better Than We Could Have Expected
This is just to say a massive thank you to you for your immense efforts on 31 July. To a person, everyone was really bowled over by the quality (and quantity) of the hog roast and also the gorgeous salads and desserts. Honestly, it was better than we ever could have expected and you really did yourself proud. I had family over from Belgium who are used to top-class food day in, day out, and they couldn't speak highly enough about how wonderful the food was. As for the two helpers, they were similarly brilliant and went a long way to help make some order out of the chaos. Please say thanks to them for us cos both Rach and myself though they were totally excellent.
